Another Naked Gun Sequel?

The coming release of OJ means at least it’s possible for there to be another Naked Gun sequel. I’m thinking OJ’s Detective Nordberg should get a little more screen time on this one.

My plot is incomplete, but I have some of the critical elements. Nordberg’s Bronco is stolen in a wild chase and lands in the hands of an evil car collector. Lieutenant Dreben is assigned to handle the case, along with his trusty sidekicks, Nordberg and Captain Ed Hocken. Eventually the squad of savvy cops spot the Bronco at a car show where Nordberg gets a little enthusiastic, knifing the evil car collector to death.

Of course, Nordberg is suspended, but the prosecutor dithers on whether there is enough evidence to try him. Eventually, a trial is held, but Nordberg is acquitted due to the clever trial techniques of his lawyer.

A happy Nordberg races off in his Bronco, but inadvertently runs over a pedestrian. This time he’s not so lucky and gets convicted of manslaughter. In the final scene Nordberg is seen masturbating in his jail cell.

I see George Clooney as Dreben and Kevin James as Hocken. There are lots of parts for other Hollywood favorites and celebrities.
